How To Be A Responsible Man - 3 More Vital Skills

How To Be A Responsible Man - 3 More Vital Skills

Following up on the topic of how to be a responsible man, I've written another short article outlining three more vital skills in order to underline the importance of responsibility in the character and life of a man.

1. Always finish what you start.

Commitment and follow-through are important habits to form. Being dilligent in your work and life produces wonders in all areas. Avoid the temptation to quit when things get tough, or slow, or dull, and find new motivation and strength to continue.

2. Be prepared to delay gratification.

This is something hugely uncommon in this present society. People everywhere are seeking pleasure first and immediately believing it to be the purpose of life. Now, pleasure is good, obviously, but never seek it at the expense of other important things in your life. Take a long range view of things and you may find that putting off gratification for the time being will bring you a greater reward later. This is wisdom.

3. Let common sense dictate.

In most situations, common sense is your best guide. Don't rush off on flights of fancy thinking immaturely about your abilites and situations but think soberly about your actions and their consequences. Keep a sound mind and your brain in gear and it'll save you a lot of pain, sorrow, and misfortune.

These are just a few follow up ideas on how to be a responsible man and if you are seriously interested in improving your life and becoming a real man I highly recommend that you get a copy of the Ultimate Man Guide.
